Woodvale Challenge offer various Boat Services to the World of Ocean Rowing

We have built more ocean rowing boats than any other company in history. The build team have many years experience of both new build, refirbishment of boats and fitting out services.

Not only are these services offered to race entrants but are available to independent rowers aswell. Whether it's help and advice of one-off builds or detailed support for an existing design - then we can help.

The main ranges of boats are as follows:-

Woodvale Solo New Build - These boats can be built from any composite material depending on weight requirements and the route that the boat will undertake.

Woodvale Pairs New Build - Either supplied as flat pack to build yourself or professionally built in house, these timber rowing boats are the most successful design in the history of the sport.

Adkin Pairs Boat - First production composite ocean rowing boat with numerous successful ocean crossings.

Woodvale Fours New Build - These are purpose built glass composite rowing boats designed specifically for the rigours of the North Atlantic Route. They are now the chosen class for the Indian Ocean Rowing Race and Fours Class on the Mid-Atlantic Race.

For the rower that wants to purchase a second hand boat of any class, Woodvale Challenge offers a free brokerage service - simply contact our office and we will put you in contact with individuals selling boats. We will also give you history of all the boats that are advertised on our website.

Those that purchase second hand boats then we can help you get them ready for a row, from painting to electrical systems - we're a one stop shop.
