Roz Savage 1
The only Solo female in the Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race 2005, Roz tells the story of the first part of her campaign. From seeing the boat for the first time through fit-out and into the water. It's a real hands on project as Roz's life completely changes direction to the point of rowing the Atlantic.
Roz Savage 2
Life on board. Some really good shots of heavy weather rowing and then flat calm bits. On camera thoughts - the low spots, equipment fails and her body hurts. A very honest account of some of the tougher parts of the row.
Roz Savage 3
The last thing you need to be doing is climbing over the bow of your boat to cut your sea anchor free. This is amazing footage of Roz doing just that. The boat is tossing her around and the conditions are far from ideal. This video highlights how difficult it is to work on equipment problems that occur - this a simple trip line failure.
Roz Savage 4
This is a very powerful video showing Roz's arrival into Antigua. Roz may have been the last boat to arrive across the finishing line of the race but the weather conditions in the 2005 race makes her achievement one of the greatest solo female rows in history. She recieved possibly the biggest reception in Antigua as her project captured the imagination of all those that followed her.
Roz Savage 5
The final part of Roz's film compilation. An overview of an amazing project. The next ambition is to row the Pacific Ocean Solo. No female has ever completed a Pacific crossing from mainland to mainland - continue her progress at www.rozsavage.com
