Woodvale Events has today launched it’s North Atlantic Rowing Race 2008 Race which will be the sequel race to the Shepherd Ocean Fours Rowing Race 2006. The North Atlantic Rowing Race 2008 will have two classes for Woodvale Fours and Adkin Pairs class boats and will start from New York Harbour in June 2008, finishing 2,900nm away in Isles of Scilly . The 2006 Atlantic Rowing Race was a great success story with 20 of the 26 starters completing the 2,550 nautical mile race and the last of the competitors safely arrived 103 days after starting the race on Monday 13 March 2006.
